Drug and Alcohol Testing at Work – Answering the Why’s and How’s

When:  Friday 9 November
Time:   12.00pm – 2.00pm
Where: Edgewater, 54 Sargood Drive, Wanaka

This seminar is for employers who are looking at implementing drug and alcohol testing in the workplace or perhaps are already doing this but not sure if they’re doing it correctly.

We’ll touch on a number of legislative areas from health and safety through to privacy as it’s important to get it right!

Our seminar will cover:

  • Why businesses need to do anything in this area and which businesses are most at risk – presented by HR specialists from Progressive Consulting.
  • How to lawfully screen for drug and alcohol use in the workplace, options for action where testing is refused, or is positive, and potential ramifications of getting it wrong– presented by employment and health and safety law specialists Copeland Ashcroft Law.
  • What testing actually involves – presented by Therese Gibbens from The Drug Detection Agency

Please feel free to pass this invitation on to others who may be interested in attending. Spaces are limited and registration is essential to confirm your attendance.
