This workshop will help you, as an employer, understand aspects of employment legislation and build mutual trust in employment relationships.

LEARNINGBITE: WARNINGS
12 September 2017  |  9.00am – 10.30am
Employers may want to formally warn employees for any number of reasons.

For an employer to be able to rely on a warning, employment law requires following a certain process, especially if you may want to dismiss the employee later if their behaviour does not improve.

Come along and get a feel for good management practice and some of the obligations the law may impose on you when you want to issue an employee with a formal warning.

RECRUITMENT: GETTING IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!
14 September 2017  |  9.00am – 4.00pm
Finding and selecting the right people for your team is a critical process and one you want to get right. It is a costly process and a very important public relations exercise at the same time.

Gone are the days when employers could pick and choose from a large pool of applicants. Employers now need to sell themselves as much as any candidates do and in an accurate transparent manner.
