We’re always looking for new ways to connect our members with experts in their field, providing opportunities for members and their teams to grow and learn. What better way to learn than regular, short seminars held at lunchtime to enable people to attend during work hours.

No cost for Chamber Members.  Non Members welcome $30 p/p.

Join us Wednesday 26 September to find out how you can improve yours & your employees productivity, as well as ensuring your workplace is promoting good eye health and is compliant with Health & Safety standards.

  • How to help your team set themselves up for great office ergonomics and general eye health
  • Computer vision syndrome and digital eye strain – what it is, how it happens, who is affected and how to prevent it
  • How the blue light from computer screens contributes to eye problems

Session 2: WORKSITE EYE SAFETY (1-1.45pm)

  • The ins & outs on protecting your people’s eyes on site
  • An update on your obligations for safety eyewear and eye-related first aid
  • Proper vision and safety eyewear on site – it’s importance
  • Driving and vision at work – how eyes can be a safety hazard
