We are our members; however the Chamber operates through a small executive committee made up from a cross section of the community and business representatives.

Leigh Stock - President
Leigh is General Manager of Edgewater Resort. He was an executive member of the Warringah Chamber of Commerce in Sydney, whilst he was based in Sydney before returning to New Zealand. He joined the Wanaka Chamber soon after his return to Wanaka in 2003.

Ed Taylor - Media
Ed, along with his wife Kim, own and operate Wanaka's only local radio station - Radio Wanaka 92.2fm and Wanaka Rox 97fm. He joined the Wanaka Chambe to help ensure that the town grows in a way most locals want it to grow.

Lyal Cocks - Council & Community Board
Lyal operates the only driving instructor school in Wanaka. He is also an elected member on the Wanaka Community Board. Lyal is passionate about ensuring Wanaka continues to be a wonderful place to live and visit.

Steve Prescott - Hospitality
Steve and his family moved from London to Wanaka 4 1/2 yrs ago to live in Paradise.
Formerly a Banker in "The City", he is now co-owner of UNO Bar.

Andrew Mckenzie - Financial
Andrew, his wife Frances and two children moved full time to Wanaka in 2007. Andrew has an extensive financial services industry background. He is a business owner in the town centre and also represents a long standing financial advisory business based in the Ballantyne Road area. Andrew would like to ensure that the needs of business owners wherever that are located are well served by the Chamber.

Helen Johnston - Retail
Helen owns and operates Kaleidescope, a gift and houseware shop. Helen has been a member of the Executive committee for over 10 years.

Alistair King – Accounting and Horticulture
Alistair is Associate Principle with WHK Cook Adam in Wanaka and has over 10 years experience in a Chartered Accountancy and Agribusiness role. Not a typical accountant, Alistair focuses on the fun side of life, social activities and spending money.

Glen Christiansen – Hospitality
Glen is the General Manager of The Golden Gate Lodge in Cromwell. With the fast moving developments in Central Otago, he joined the chamber to help develop the relationship between Cromwell and Wanaka.

Laura Larsson - Events
Originally from London, Laura joined the Executive committee after being the Secretary for the Chamer for two years. Laura also owns and operates Mint Events an Event Managment company.
