Mary is an award winning journalist, broadcaster, executive media trainer, communications strategist and media consultant. She is the founder of Socius Media – a media training and media consultancy company.

Mary Lambie - A Remarkable Journey in Journalism and Media
Mary Lambie has enjoyed a rich and varied career in the media landscape. Following her completion of the AUT Journalism course in 1987, she embarked on a journey that included roles as a journalist, radio host, and newsreader across New Zealand. Her international experience took her to Japan in 1991, where she served as Radio New Zealand's Tokyo foreign correspondent for three years.
Upon returning to New Zealand, Mary expanded her horizons, hosting the BBC World Service Business program and contributing to television documentaries. Notably, she became the host of TV One's "Good Morning" show in 1997, a role she held with distinction. In addition to her broadcasting prowess, Mary authored the book "101 Quick Tips for Surviving your Kids" and explored Iran on television's "Intrepid Journeys."
In 2023, Mary ventured into reality television as part of the "Celebrity Treasure Island" cast. She also played a pivotal role as a media consultant for New Zealand's Prime Minister Elect, Christopher Luxon. Mary Lambie's accomplished career reflects her adaptability and enduring impact in the world of media.
